Village Talk on June 24th

Please join with your fellow villagers for a Village Talk by Randy Phoebus, president of the Native Grassland Conservancy, an organization whose mission is the preservation of biodiversity in the eastern United States.  Randy has focused on the disappearance of many of our native grasses from open spaces and their replacement by aggressive non-native, invasive plants.  This trend is creating a sterile environment hostile to not only our native flora but also our native fauna, birds such as the Meadowlark and butterflies such as the Baltimore Checkerspot.  Randy will discuss this trend in detail and propose how it can be can be reversed.

When: June 24th, 7pm

Where: Unit 251 ! [1415 S. Barton St. –east of South Barton on the stream across from the pool]

    What ever happened to the new streetlights? After marking the spots nothing seems to have happened?
